Description
ERNi-1 is used for TIG , MIG, and SAW welding of Nickel 200 and 201. This metal is also employed for overlaying on steel as well as repairing cast iron castings. It can also be used for dissimilar joints between nickel or nickel alloys to stainless or ferritic steels. The weld metal of ERNi-1 has good corrosion resistance, particularly in alkalis. It canequivalent to:Oxford Alloy? 61 FM61, Techalloy 208.
Applications
ERNi-1 nickel based welding wire is used for joining nickel 200 and nickel 201. This includes ASTM grades such as B160 ¨C B163, B725 and B730.
A variety of dissimilar applications between nickel alloys to stainless or ferritic steels.
Overlaying carbon steel and in repairing cast iron castings.
